Aboriginal Services

Our Aboriginal Hospital Liaison officers are here to support you during your stay, and help you understand hospital services and treatment options.

LRH acknowledges the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong peoples as the traditional custodians of the lands on which our services are situated.

We acknowledge the strength, resilience and survival of Aboriginal peoples and are committed to providing an accessible and culturally response service that works in partnership with community members for better health outcomes.

We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We recognise and respect their connection to their ancestral lands.

Contact our Aboriginal Health Unit on (03) 5173 8653 or (03) 5173 8831 Monday to Friday from 8.30am-5pm. You can also contact the Aboriginal Hospital Liaison officers by emailing aboriginalhealthunit@lrh.com.au
