Executive Team

 

Peter Craighead

Chief Executive

Peter was born in New Zealand and came to Australia following his early training as a nurse.

He worked in various sections of the Queensland health service before making the transition into hospital administration on King Island.

Peter gained further tertiary qualifications in nursing and health administration and held CEO positions at Sale and Yarram hospitals.

He has also held an executive position with the Gippsland Health Alliance.

 

 

Amanda Cameron

Director Nursing, Midwifery and Clinical Services

Amanda trained at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. She has worked in senior management positions at Warragul, Bairnsdale and Sale Hospitals. Amanda has a bachelor of nursing, graduate diploma in critical care and is completing a master degree in health administration at Latrobe University. She is a member of the Royal College of Nursing, the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses, the Australian College of Health Service Executives and the Australian Nurses Federation.

 

 

Rohan Fitzgerald

Director Corporate Services

Rohan returned to university as a mature aged student and studied accounting and information technology at Deakin University.

He started work as a business analyst with global consulting company Accenture. He has also worked as an insolvency accountant in Melbourne.

More recently Rohan worked as a senior manager at Sale Hospital. His focus is on financial analysis, project management, infrastructure projects, strategic planning and change management.

 

 

Cayte Hoppner

Director Mental Health

Cayte is a qualified mental health nurse and an endorsed mental health nurse practitioner. She has worked in various clinical and management positions across Queensland, South Australia and Victoria. She previously held the chief nursing officer position at Peninsula Mental Health Service. Cayte holds a nursing masters degree and is currently completing a doctoral degree with research focused on reducing the use of seclusion and restraint in acute mental health settings. Cayte is a member of the Royal College of Nursing Australia and the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
