Latrobe Regional Hospital

 

 

Latrobe Regional Hospital provides a regional public health service for the whole of Gippsland.

 

A purpose built 257-bed, fully integrated health service is located at Traralgon West.

 

The Hospital offers a suite of services including:

-         aged care

-         cancer care

-         elective surgery

-         maternity

-         mental health

-         pharmacy

-         rehabilitation

 

A comprehensive suite of health services is also provided to more than 240,000 residents across Gippsland, including:

-         acute health

-         aged care

-         integrated cancer care

-         mental health

-         rehabilitation

 

The Latrobe Regional Hospital Community Residential Care Unit provides residential rehabilitation for people with prolonged severe mental illness and associated disability.

 

The Hospital also has eight Community Mental Health Centres located across Gippsland.

Latrobe Regional Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Monash University School of Rural Health, which is located on the Hospital's main campus in Traralgon.

We care for an immediate population of nearly 70,000 in the Latrobe Valley and, in conjunction with the region's other healthcare providers, over 240,000 across Gippsland.
