Speech Pathology

The Speech Pathologists at Latrobe Regional Hospital are members of the multi-disciplinary Allied Health team trained to provide assessment,

management and prevention of communication and swallowing disorders.

The service aims to maximise communication and swallowing potential through the provision of individual therapy, small group therapy, resources

and information, consultation with other agencies, as well as providing education and support to clients, their family members, caregivers, and other professionals.

A service is provided to the acute and sub-acute wards within Latrobe Regional Hospital, with outpatient services available in the areas of paediatrics laryngectomy.
