Fundraising Superstars!

Lowanna College’s Fundraising Superstars (formally known as the SRC) had an amazing gift to share with the hospital.

Students donated $688 to the Carmen Cook Wig Library in our chemotherapy unit. The library supports cancer patients who are experiencing hair loss as a result of their treatment. They are able to access wigs and fashionable head dressings for all occasions.

The money was raised from the students’ Easter Raffle and ‘out of uniform’ days.

It was great to show the Fundraising Superstars the wig library and the hi-tech Gippsland Radiation Oncology facilities.
